Roll-Off Bin Rental in Toronto and the GTA

Junk Alert drops roll-off bins from 4 to 22 yards anywhere in Toronto and the GTA, and collects them on the date agreed at drop-off. Bins suit renovations, gradual cleanouts and heavy material. Open seven days from 7am.

  • Open seven days, 7am to 5pm
  • Based on Weston Road in York

Signs it is time to call

  • Debris coming out over a week needs somewhere to go each evening. A bin on the drive keeps the site workable.

  • Soil, brick, concrete and roofing tear-off price better in a bin than as a crew-loaded haul.

  • Bins let you load an hour at a time across a weekend instead of emptying a basement in one afternoon.

  • Framing and drywall crews slow down when off-cuts pile up in the work area. A bin at the door keeps them moving.

  • Bin length plus about ten feet of tilt room is the rule. Send a photo and we will confirm before booking.

  • When the driveway has to be clear by a fixed date, the collection date matters as much as the drop-off.

  • Municipal pickup caps what it takes each week. A single renovation easily exceeds a year of allowance.

  • Tear-off shingles and old deck boards come down fast and take up more room than most people expect.

Not sure which size fits your renovation, or whether it fits the driveway? Send a photo and we will size both before you book. Call (647) 905-8815 · Open seven days, 7am to 5pm

What customers say

Choosing a bin size

Pick by the volume of what is going, not by the size of the project. If you are between two sizes, the larger bin is almost always cheaper than paying for a second haul.

What is the job? Pick one to see which sizes suit it.

    Heavy material

Concrete, soil, brick and tile, where weight fills the bin long before volume does.

    Larger heavy loads

    Construction and demolition

New builds, gut jobs and sites producing bulky, lightweight waste.

Driveway space needed is roughly the bin length plus ten feet, so the truck can tilt and load. Not sure it will fit? Send a photo of the driveway and we will tell you before you book.

How a job runs

1

Size it with us

Tell us what is going in, or send photos. Being one size up almost always costs less than paying for a second haul.

2

We place the bin

The driver sets it where you point, on boards if you ask, and checks the tilt room before tipping it off the truck.

3

You load at your pace

Fill it over an afternoon or across a week. Keep the load level with the top rail so it can be tarped legally.

4

We collect on the agreed date

Pickup happens on the date set at drop-off. If you finish early, call and the truck comes sooner.

Why people book our bin rental

Collected on the agreed date

The pickup date is set when the bin is dropped, not left open-ended.

Every rate shows the weight it includes, or pick Flat Rate for eligible garbage with no standard excess-weight charge.

Built for tight driveways

Laneways, narrow semis and shared drives are routine placements across the city.

Boards under the bin

Ask and the driver sets it on boards to protect asphalt or interlock.

Seven days a week

Drops and pickups run weekends, so a Saturday renovation is not stuck until Monday.

Local context

Local and seasonal factors

Driveway space decides more bin choices in Toronto than budget does. A city semi with a single-width drive rarely takes a twenty-two yard bin, and the truck still needs about ten feet behind it to tilt and load. A photo settles the question in a minute.

Demand runs hardest from April through October, when roofing tear-offs, deck rebuilds and landscaping all overlap. Booking a few days ahead in those months is the difference between a bin on Saturday and a bin the following Tuesday.

Common questions

What size bin do I need for a basement renovation?

A fourteen yard bin handles most mid-size renovations and full basement clearouts, holding roughly four pickup truck loads. Twenty yards suits multi-room work or a roofing tear-off. Where the load is heavy material such as concrete or soil, a ten yard bin is usually the right call.

How much space does a roll-off bin need on a driveway?

Allow the length of the bin plus about ten feet for the truck to tilt and load it. Overhead wires and low branches matter too. Sending a photo of the driveway before booking avoids a wasted delivery charge and a rescheduled drop.

How long can I keep a rented bin?

The standard rental period is seven days across Toronto and the GTA, and longer terms are arranged when the bin is booked. Collection happens on the date agreed at drop-off. If you finish early, a call brings the truck sooner at no change to the rate.

Can I put concrete or soil in a roll-off bin?

Yes, in a 4 or 5 yard aggregate and fill bin, from $325 for a single clean material. Mixed fill and anything containing asphalt are priced a step higher. Concrete, dirt, brick and asphalt are not accepted on Flat Rate pricing, so tell us what is going in when you book.

Frequently asked questions

It cannot be collected. A load above the top rail cannot be tarped, and an untarped load is not legal on the road. If you are close to the line, call before pickup day and we will arrange a swap rather than a wasted trip.

Roll-offs are heavy and asphalt softens in summer heat. Ask at booking and the driver sets the bin on boards, which spreads the load across the surface. Interlock and freshly sealed drives are worth mentioning specifically so the placement can be planned.

On private property, no. On a City of Toronto road allowance you need a street occupation permit, and the rules differ between the old municipalities. Most residential jobs fit on the driveway, which avoids the permit entirely. Ask if you are unsure.

Yes, as long as the placement is clear and the spot is marked. A photo or a note describing where you want it is enough. The driver calls before tipping it off if anything on site looks different from what was described.

Paint, solvents, motor oil, fuel, propane tanks, car and marine batteries, asbestos and medical waste are all excluded and need a licensed hazardous depot. Almost everything else that comes out of a house or a job site can go in the bin.

Almost always. A second haul means a second drop, a second collection and a second disposal run, and that costs more than the gap between two bin sizes. If you are caught between sizes, the larger bin is the cheaper mistake to make.
